Kids for Wish Kids®

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central & South Texas Kids For Wish Kids program gives schools and organizations in central and south Texas the opportunity to sponsor wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Ryan’s, age 5, wish was grantedKids For Wish Kids is an extremely popular program for students because it is managed by the students! They are responsible for coming up with the ideas and carrying them out. Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the project belongs solely to the kids involved.

The Kids For Wish Kids program fosters the value of community service by providing students with hands-on experience in helping to grant wishes. It also provides a mechanism for building school spirit and creating additional partnerships between students and teachers outside of the classroom.

The opportunities available for fundraising activities through the Kids For Wish Kids program are endless. Anything from a parking space sale, to a dance marathon, or student/teacher basketball game - it's all up to the students’ imagination.
